Common questions

Where’s my puzzle? I started one and now I can’t find it.

In-progress puzzles save automatically. Tap Packs → (your pack) → (your puzzle) to return to the picross selector — any picrosses you’d started will still be there.

Completed CBNs live in the Trophy Room (the trophy icon on the title screen).

My energy isn’t refilling.

Energy refills over real time — you can check your remaining time by tapping the energy counter at the top. If your device’s clock is wrong, regeneration timing can look off; fixing the clock will bring it back in sync on the next launch.

I bought a pack / removed ads, but the game doesn’t reflect it.

Open Settings → Restore Purchases. The store sometimes takes a moment to confirm purchases with our servers; restore re-runs the check.

If restore doesn’t help, email us with your purchase receipt and we’ll investigate.

My progress is gone after reinstalling.

Color by Nonogram uses an anonymous account that’s tied to your device. Reinstalling on the same device generally restores your progress; switching devices does not, because we don’t (yet) have a sign-in option to link the same account across phones. Account linking is on the roadmap.

If your data should be there but isn’t, email us with the rough date you last played and we’ll see if we can find your account on the backend.

My free-fill canvas disappeared.

Free-fill state saves per puzzle. To find it again, open the Trophy Room, tap the puzzle, and switch to the Free fill tab. If that’s empty, the state was likely lost during a reinstall — free-fill data is stored locally on the device only.

How do I delete my account / data?

Email privacy@otfdp.com with a deletion request. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and your rights.

The game crashed on me.

Sorry about that. Email support@otfdp.com with what you were doing when it crashed and your device/version info. If you can reproduce the crash, a description of the steps that trigger it is extremely helpful.

Why does it ask for tracking permission?

The prompt is from Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. We use the response to decide whether the ads you see are personalized to your interests, or generic. Either choice is fine — the game works identically; only the ads themselves differ.
