Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your Cyclogram account and the data we hold about you, as required by Google Play and the App Store.

First: do you have an account?

Cyclogram does not create an account for you. If you have never signed in with Apple or Google, we hold no data about you at all — your progress lives only on your device. Uninstalling the App removes it, and there is nothing for us to delete.

The rest of this page applies if you have signed in.

What gets deleted

If you request account deletion, we permanently remove:

The Apple ID or Google account itself is unaffected — that belongs to Apple or Google, and we have no control over it.

Purchases are not lost. Your purchases are held by Apple or Google, not by us. Deleting your Cyclogram account removes our record of them, but non-consumable purchases such as picture packs and removing ads can be restored on any future install through the store’s own restore function. Energy is consumable and cannot be restored by the store once spent or deleted.

How to delete your account

In the app (fastest, immediate)

  1. Open the app
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete my account
  3. Confirm the prompt
  4. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted within seconds. No further action is needed.

By email (if you no longer have the app installed)

If you have uninstalled and cannot reach the in-app option:

Email: privacy@otfdp.com

Subject line: “Account deletion request”

Include in the body:

  1. The email address or Apple ID you signed in with. If you used Sign in with Apple and chose to hide your email, include the private relay address (it ends in @privaterelay.appleid.com) — this is what we know you by.
  2. The device platform you used (iOS or Android)
  3. (Optional) The reason, which helps us improve and is not required

We respond within 30 days as required by GDPR and CCPA. Most requests are processed within 5 business days.

Alternative: uninstall the app

Uninstalling removes all locally stored data from your device immediately — progress, settings and the cached sign-in session.

If you have never signed in, that is the end of it: nothing else exists anywhere.

If you have signed in, your account on our backend persists, so that installing Cyclogram again and signing in restores your progress. To remove the account itself, use one of the methods above.
