How does a cyclogram work?

It’s a nonogram on a disc. Every cell sits on a ring, a spiral and a diameter, so each one is clued three different ways rather than the usual two. The hub belongs to every diameter, which makes it the most useful cell on the board to pin down first.

How to play on the title screen walks through all three clue types in about a minute, and you can leave and come back to it without losing your place.

What are cells for?

Solving cyclograms collects cells, and cells open the pictures. Every picture takes 1,000 cells to open, drawn from the packs you own — so progress is never wasted on pictures you can’t reach.

Where’s my board? I started one and can’t find it.

Boards save automatically. Play returns you to anything in progress, and everything you’ve finished lives in the Trophy room on the title screen.

My energy isn’t refilling.

Energy refills over real time, up to a cap of 1,000. If your device’s clock is wrong, the timing can look off — correcting the clock brings it back in sync on the next launch.

Energy you buy is added on top of the cap rather than being cut off at it, and is always spent first.

I bought a pack and the game doesn’t show it.

Open Settings → Restore purchases. The store occasionally takes a moment to confirm, and restoring re-runs the check.

If restore doesn’t help, email us with your purchase receipt and we’ll sort it out.

My progress is gone after reinstalling.

If you were signed in, sign in again with the same Apple ID or Google account and your progress will come back.

If you were not signed in, progress is stored only on the device and uninstalling removes it. We’re sorry — we genuinely can’t recover it, because it was never sent to us. Signing in is the way to protect it, and it’s free.

I signed in and my energy went down.

That’s deliberate, though we know it’s surprising. When local progress merges with an account, energy is always the lower of the two balances. Otherwise signing out and back in would be a way to top up for free, and we’d rather the currency stayed worth something.

Everything else merges in your favour: purchases combine, and you choose which progress to keep.

Do I have to sign in?

No. Cyclogram plays fully without an account, and if you never sign in, nothing about you ever reaches us.

Signing in does two things: it protects your progress if you lose the device, and it attaches your purchases to you rather than to one phone. We ask before your first purchase for that second reason — particularly for energy, which the app stores can’t restore.

Why does it ask for tracking permission?

That prompt comes from Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. Your answer decides whether the ads you see are personalized or generic. Either choice is fine — the game plays identically, and only the ads differ.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you’ll see Google’s consent form instead, and you can change your answer later in Settings → Privacy options.

How do I delete my account or data?

The game crashed.
